Alexander was born in 1960 in Delta, Delaware.  He studied at the Delta College of Fine Art and then apprenticed for 10 years in the studio of renowned landscape artist P. Painter.  Many of Art’s paintings are influenced by the scenic landscapes of his hometown.  Art’s series of oil on canvas entitled “Delta” are in the permanent collection of the ABC Gallery in New York.
